Kathy Carruthers, a Chartered Accountant with professional experience in Australia and overseas, is a Partner at mhm.
Initially specialising in the areas of business services and taxation, Kathy has helped many family-based businesses and government agencies by providing strategic, advisory and technical advice that has translated into positive business outcomes.
In the early 1990's she focussed her role on the development and management of professional services senior executives and teams.
Kathy's strength is in the development, communication and implementation of strategy - and has successfully developed and managed the implementation of corporate and group strategies to a wide variety and size of organisations. Kathy's ability to facilitate buy-in is critical to the success of these projects.
Kathy managed the growth of mhm from 2002 - 2006 as our General Manager and during that time oversaw the development of our brand and culture.
Kathy has many years experience in organisational development roles both in Australia and overseas. Her suite of skills and experience includes:
- Development and implementation of change management programs
- Development and management of external communications and brand strategies
- Management of internal communications systems across domestic and international borders
- Human resource planning and management
- Development and implementation of staff performance, development and incentive programs
- Development of recruitment and retention strategies
- Career assessment, development and coaching
- Event management including, conference design and delivery and other strategic functions
- Training needs analysis and train the trainer programs
- Course design, development and delivery including: technical, management, communications, consulting and presentations skills programs, leadership assessment programs and strategic planning facilitation
